Our Year 4 mathematicians tackled this tricky reasoning and problem-solving challenge this morning. The aim is to place the digits 1–9 (each used once) in the grid so that the products at the end of each row and column are correct.

It required lots of logical thinking, teamwork and resilience — and the children showed fantastic perseverance when the answers didn’t appear straight away!
